International orders
We accept international orders from all credit and debit cards except American Express. Please note that the website displays costs in British pounds only. The amount charged with foreign currencies will depend upon the daily exchange rate and may also be subject to your bank’s conversion charges. Please also note that shipping charges to outside UK mainland vary and are calculated by order weight and destination. This amount will be displayed at point of purchase. Certain products may contravene import regulations if you're outside the UK; some countries also levy import duties. Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research cannot offer any advice and you are advised to check with your local/national authorities before you order if in doubt.
Despatch policy
While every effort will be made to ensure that all items shown are in stock, we offer no guarantee of availability and this electronic publication does not constitute an offer for sale.
We aim to despatch goods within 48 hours of receipt of payment confirmation, but this can take longer in busy times (or if a product is momentarily out of stock).
UK orders (excluding next-day delivery) go with Royal Mail and should take no more than 5 working days but can take up to 14 days to arrive from point of despatch (particularly in busy periods). Guaranteed next-day delivery by courier is available at £7 (instead of £5 for standard postal service) on UK mainland only for orders placed Monday-Thursday before 11.45am. Please ensure that you select "UK-mainland" in the "country of destination" field in the shopping basket.
Our courier cannot take any "special delivery instructions" (eg leave behind shed) as they require a signature; if you're not in, they will try to deliver on three separate occasions. Unfortunately they cannot offer any indication as to the time in the day they are likely to deliver. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
For non-UK orders, we aim to deliver within 7 days from point of despatch but this can take up to a month.
If standard postal delivery is selected and some products are momentarily out of stock, we will delay shipment for five days to try to send everything together. However if after this time some products are still not in stock, the available products will be shipped and the remaining products shipped when available. The delivery note will show products to follow later. If next-day delivery is selected all available products will be shipped without delay. For products indefinitely out of stock, a refund will follow within one month.
Prices and tax
The price shown for the goods excludes postage and packing unless specifically stated. The charges for postage and packing are shown at point of checkout once country and delivery method are selected. Delivery to non-European Union countries may result in import duties payable on receipt of the goods. You will be liable for these duties.
VAT (value added tax)
Prices include VAT where relevant. The standard rate was increased from 15% to 17.5% on 1 January 2010. We have decided not to pass that increase onto customers and so our final prices remain unchanged (on existing stock). This means that less of your money goes onto vital research as we have to pay HM Revenue & Customs the full 17.5% on goods sold from 1 January. However you may wish to add a donation when making a purchase. Thank you.
Cancellation and returns
If you are not satisfied with the goods or wish to cancel your order, you have the right to do this within seven days of placing the order or being in receipt of the goods. All goods must be returned within seven days in the original packaging and in an unused condition for a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. The colour of goods may vary slightly from that shown on the website due to limitations of browser software and monitors.

All confidential information is held securely and only transmitted in encrypted form. Your credit card details remain with our payment partner WorldPay and do not reach Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. Customer details are not passed to third parties and are used only in accordance with the Data Protection Acts 1984 & 1998.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses, liabilities, damages and expenses (including legal fees), arising out of your use of this site.
Jurisdiction
The contract will be governed by the laws of England and Wales and the parties to the contract submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
Consumer rights
None of the above terms and conditions affects your statutory consumer rights.
